Why Must Microbubbles in Materials Be Eliminated?

Residual micro‑bubbles in materials directly affect product yield and performance stability.

Aerospace Composite Materials

Bubbles in aerospace composite resin matrix weaken inter‑layer bonding, impair component fatigue resistance, impact toughness and structural strength, and bring potential safety hazards.

Pharmaceutical Formulation Industry

Bubbles in pharmaceutical gels and ointments undermine content uniformity, causing inaccurate dosage and jeopardizing therapeutic stability and medication safety.

Petrochemical Industry

Bubbles in petrochemical catalyst slurries impair coating uniformity, reducing catalytic efficiency, reaction conversion rate and product yield.

✨ Traditional defoaming challenges: Manual mixing is nearly impossible for ultra‑high‑viscosity materials; excessive speed of standard equipment causes severe splashing or thermal degradation; insufficient capacity demands repeated batch processing, while material change‑over and cleaning consume excessive time for high‑viscosity media, resulting in extremely low production‑line efficiency.

Why Choose SIE-CV20L

Three core features built for large‑volume mass‑production of high‑viscosity materials.

 20L Dual‑Cup Batch Processing

Designed for ultra‑large‑batch production of high‑viscosity materials. Large‑volume cups reduce batch cycles and material change‑over frequency, greatly improving throughput for high‑viscosity media.

Low‑Speed High‑Torque Homogeneous Mixing

0‑600rpm low‑speed operation with high torque output prevents splashing and thermal deterioration caused by high‑speed mixing. Sustained low‑speed shearing breaks internal agglomerates to achieve thorough homogeneous dispersion and micro‑bubble elimination.

 Heavy‑Duty Long‑Term Operation

Suited for long‑cycle continuous industrial‑grade operation. Multi‑fold protections including safety interlock, inertia delay and fault indication are standard. Micro‑computer control supports permission management and 100‑recipe storage to guarantee stable multi‑shift continuous production.

✨ When production requirement reaches 20L level or ultra‑large‑batch processing of ultra‑high‑viscosity materials is needed, SIE‑CV20L serves as the heavy‑duty top‑capacity option within the CV series.

Working Principle

Synchronized dual‑power of revolution and rotation delivers deep mixing and defoaming for high‑viscosity materials via low‑speed high‑torque output.

Step 1: Centrifugal force from revolution
The revolving plate rotates at high speed, generating strong centrifugal force for materials inside the container to trigger full convection and achieve macro mixing. Meanwhile, bubbles of lower density migrate toward the rotation axis under centrifugal force and converge for release.

Step 2: Shear force from rotation
The container spins around its own axis to generate directional shear force, breaking up agglomerated particles for micro dispersion. Gear transmission ensures precise and stable revolution‑rotation speed ratio for efficient full-range mixing. The shear force also thins bubble membranes and accelerates bubble rupture.

Revolution and rotation run simultaneously. Materials complete the full cycle of "Mixing → Dispersion → Defoaming" inside the sealed container. Constant speed ratio maintained by gear transmission guarantees consistency and repeatability of test data across batches.

  • What is the function of a defoaming machine?

A defoaming machine is a device used to remove bubbles from liquids. Its function is to assist in the liquid mixing, reaction, coating, printing, infusion and other process steps in the production process, avoiding the generation of bubbles and their impact on the final product. In many industrial and laboratory environments, removing bubbles is essential as they may have a negative impact on product quality, such as affecting surface tension and stability. Defoaming machines typically use various techniques such as vibration, ultrasound, centrifugation, etc. to achieve effective bubble removal. It has a wide range of applications, including but not limited to semiconductors, solar energy, optics, biotechnology, materials science, etc.
