Why You Need to Remove Bubbles

Microscopic bubbles are a critical quality issue in precision material processing. Uncontrolled voids can result in:

Adhesion failure — Microvoids at bond interfaces compromise peel and shear strength.

Performance degradation — Bubbles in conductive pastes increase electrical resistivity and create hot spots.

Surface flaws — Pinholes and craters on cured surfaces diminish appearance and functional integrity.

Process inconsistency — Air pockets cause erratic dispensing, skipped dots, and volume variation in automated lines.

Optical loss — In LED and optical materials, bubbles scatter light, reducing transparency and output efficiency.

Eliminating bubbles is fundamental to achieving repeatable, high-quality production and reliable end-product performance.

Why SIE-MIX80

The SIE-MIX80 is a robust floor-standing vacuum centrifugal mixer that bridges the gap between benchtop R&D and full-scale production. It delivers fast, non-contact processing for industrial batches up to 300 mL per cup, with configurations supporting dual-cup alternating or simultaneous operation, making it ideal for small-lot production, pilot lines, and quality control.

0–3000 RPM adjustable speed High centrifugal force tailored to material viscosity; 1–30 min cycle times.

Vacuum up to -98 kPa Extracts nano‑scale bubbles for consistently void‑free results.

Non‑contact planetary mixing Zero heat generation, zero contamination — preserves material integrity.

Dual‑cup configuration (1 × 2) Process two batches simultaneously; ideal for A/B testing and small‑lot production.

Fixed revolution/rotation speed ratio Guarantees repeatable process parameters across all batches, essential for quality control.

Floor‑standing durable build 304 stainless steel, imported components; engineered for reliable daily use.

100‑program digital memory Operator‑independent recipes ensure batch‑to‑batch consistency.

Intuitive touch screen controls Real‑time monitoring and straightforward operation.

Optional MES / cooling / heating Full in‑line connectivity with real‑time process traceability.

Industry‑focused versatility Proven across LED, battery, semiconductor, and chemical sectors.

Key differentiation: Compared to the benchtop MIX60 (optimized for R&D), the MIX80 is a floor‑standing system built for higher‑frequency industrial batch processing. Compared to the larger MIX1000PLUS (1000 mL, independently adjustable rotation), the MIX80 offers a fixed speed ratio optimized for standardized production workflows where absolute repeatability is paramount.

Working principle

By using the centrifugal force of revolution and the shear force of rotation to stir, coupled with a vacuum pump to extract gas, small bubbles in the liquid can be efficiently removed, improving product quality.

FAQ

1. What materials can the MIX80 process?

Fluorescent powders, LEDs, adhesives, silicone gels, silver/aluminum pastes, conductive inks, battery slurries, epoxy resins, and more. Free sample testing available.

2. Does the process change material properties?

No. Non-contact planetary mixing ensures zero contamination and zero frictional heat — original chemical properties remain fully intact.

3. What containers are supported?

Standard syringes, tubes, cans, and fully custom proprietary containers with various capacity adapters available.

4. Can the MIX80 be used in production as well as R&D?

Yes. Its dual‑cup, floor‑standing configuration handles industrial small‑batch production while remaining fully suitable for lab use, pilot testing, and quality control.

5. How does the MIX80 differ from the MIX60 and MIX1000PLUS?

The MIX80 is a floor‑standing, fixed-ratio dual-cup system (0–300 mL) built for industrial small-lot processing. The MIX60 is a benchtop lab-focused unit, while the MIX1000PLUS offers higher capacity (0–1000 mL) with independently adjustable rotation ratios for greater process flexibility.

6. How do I start a sample evaluation?

Send your materials to SIENOX — we provide free sample testing and a detailed process recommendation report tailored to your application.
