Why Must Microbubbles in Materials Be Eliminated?
Residual nanoscale micro‑bubbles within materials directly affect product yield and performance stability.
Polymer Composite Material IndustryMicro‑bubbles trapped inside polymer raw materials such as epoxy resin and silicone will form voids and micro‑cracks after curing, reducing the tensile strength and sealing performance of finished parts. Bubbles degrade light transmittance and surface uniformity, raise defective rates for injection‑molded / cast products and increase raw‑material waste costs. | Cosmetic Paste IndustryBubbles inside makeup and skincare pastes cause uneven spreading and patchy color appearance. Compressed bubbles during filling lead to filling‑volume deviation, which jeopardizes metering compliance. Internal voids accelerate raw‑material oxidation and shorten the shelf‑life of finished products. | Ceramic Conductive Slurry IndustryBubbles trapped in ceramic slurries result in pinholes and porosity defects on sintered bodies, causing fluctuations in conductive and insulating performance. Bubbles bring inconsistent coating thickness and scattered resistance parameters of components, making it difficult to unify parameter control for mass‑produced products. |
✨ Challenges of conventional defoaming: Ordinary planetary mixer‑defoamers rely on centrifugal force to remove bubbles, with limited performance on nanoscale micro‑bubbles trapped in high‑viscosity materials. Static defoaming is time‑consuming and incomplete. Vacuum mixing‑defoaming applies ‑98 kPa negative‑pressure vacuum during planetary agitation, lowering the pressure difference inside and outside bubbles to enable micro‑bubbles to expand and escape. It delivers deep‑layer defoaming results unachievable by conventional mixing methods.
Why Choose SIE‑MIX2000
Engineered for Vacuum Defoaming in Small‑Batch Production
Customizable Capacity Upon RequestStandard 2L dual‑station base model, capacity adjustable within 0‑30L range. Compatible with large‑volume single‑bucket materials and multi‑batch continuous mass‑production conditions. Supports large‑size mixing vessels and custom tooling fixtures, covering requirements for small‑batch pilot tests and scaled‑up production lines. Suitable for multi‑viscosity pastes and liquid raw materials. | Coordinated Revolution & RotationDual‑driven planetary structure. Revolution generates centrifugal force to spread materials, while vessel rotation creates 360° fluid shear to reduce powder agglomeration and colloid delamination. Speed range adapts to adhesives, silver pastes, ceramic materials and other substances for broader mixing coverage and less local inhomogeneity. | Intelligent Industrial ControlEquipped with large‑size touch‑screen for storing multi‑segment running recipes. Optional MES industrial data interface to fully record full‑process data including speed, vacuum level, temperature control and duration. Built‑in audio‑visual alarm, multi‑safety interlocks and overload power‑off protection for standardized continuous factory production. |
✨ When vacuum defoaming is required and production volume reaches the 2000 mL level, the SIE‑MIX2000 is the small‑batch pilot‑scale option within the planetary vacuum defoaming mixer series.
Working Principle
Adopts synergistic process combining planetary revolution, vessel rotation and closed high‑vacuum environment.
Step 1: Centrifugal Force from Revolution The rotating revolution plate drives the container and materials to generate strong centrifugal force, triggering full convection of materials for macro mixing. Meanwhile, centrifugal force pushes low-density bubbles toward the rotation axis, gathering and releasing large bubbles. Step 2: Shear Force from Rotation The container rotates around its own axis to produce directional shear force, breaking up agglomerated particles for micro dispersion. High speed up to 3000rpm creates powerful shear for efficient full-volume mixing, thinning bubble membranes and accelerating bubble rupture. Step 3: Vacuum Negative Pressure Boosts Defoaming While revolution and rotation proceed, the vacuum system reduces chamber pressure to -98kPa. Under low pressure, pressure difference inside and outside bubbles expands nano-sized microbubbles and speeds up their floating and release. Vacuum defoaming compensates the limitation of centrifugal force on tiny bubbles, achieving full-range defoaming from large bubbles down to nanoscale bubbles. Revolution, rotation and vacuum work simultaneously. Materials complete the full process of "Mixing → Dispersion → Deep Defoaming" inside the sealed container. 3000rpm high speed combined with -98kPa vacuum balances mixing efficiency and defoaming depth. | ![]() |
