Large Rollers for High Capacity

The rollers deliver large shearing area and high throughput with large single‑batch output, reducing grinding cycles for medium‑large‑batch continuous production. The 450mm long roller expands effective grinding zone to boost hourly capacity, meet mass‑delivery schedule and avoid time loss from split‑batch processing. Rollers are centrifugally cast chilled alloy cast iron (subject to actual product) with high surface hardness and wear resistance for heavy‑duty continuous production.

Temperature‑controlled Grinding with Heating & Cooling

Roller heating reduces flow resistance of high‑viscosity materials to improve grinding efficiency. Cooling dissipates heat timely during continuous mass production to avoid heat buildup and guarantee batch‑to‑batch consistency. Adjustable temperature range fits diverse material processes. Stable temperature is critical for consistent quality in mass manufacturing.

Cooling‑water Circulation for Continuous Operation

Internal water circulation channels inside rollers adjust cooling water flow via pipelines to suppress temperature rise caused by extrusion and friction during continuous heavy‑duty grinding. Rollers maintain good geometric condition to enhance grinding fineness and efficiency. Return water drains to sewer via water trough, ensuring consistent quality for successive batches.

Working Principle

It forces materials under compression and shearing via three rollers at different rotating speeds to achieve mixing and homogenization.

Step 1: Three‑roll Shear Grinding

                   The motor inside the base drives the transmission shaft through V‑belt. The transmission shaft gear drives the fast‑roll gear, which further drives the middle‑roll gear, and the middle‑roll gear drives the slow‑roll gear to form a complete transmission system. Three rollers rotate oppositely at a speed ratio of 1:2:4. Slurries are subjected to forced compression and shearing within roller gaps, and are ground and dispersed step‑by‑step from slow‑roll to middle‑roll then to fast‑roll. 

Step 2: Gap Adjustment for Particle Size Control

                   Turn the handwheel to compress or release springs, so as to move fast and slow rollers back‑and‑forth for gap adjustment and grinding fineness control. Materials get refined progressively from feed roller to middle roller then discharge roller. Various fineness can be achieved by adjusting roller gaps via handwheel. 

Step 3: Discharge via Scraper Blade

                   A scraper blade is mounted on the discharge blade holder, closely attached to fast‑roll surface slightly above roller center. It smoothly scrapes off ground materials adhering to fast‑roll for collection. Re‑circulated grinding is available to reach target fineness. 


Three simple steps: Three‑roll shearing → Gap particle‑size control → Scraper discharging, progressive grinding down to 3‑18μm. Internal water circulation channels inside rollers adjust cooling‑water flow to restrain heat rise during dispersion and guarantee grinding quality.
