SIENOX SIE-BM1000 planetary ball mill is designed for pilot tests and small-batch production. Four 1000mL grinding jars are mounted on one turntable. With 300rpm revolution speed and 600rpm rotation speed, the balls inside jars grind and mix samples at high velocity. It supports both dry and wet milling, achieving particle size as fine as 0.1μm. Four parallel experiments can be finished in one batch loading.
SIE-BM1000 adopts a programmable touch LCD screen. It supports forward/reverse cycling, interval operation, timed operation and data storage. Multiple milling cycles run automatically after one setup. Powered by a 1.5KW motor and built on a solid 150kg frame, it delivers stable long-duration operation. Suitable for pilot scale-up and small-batch production in lithium battery materials, ceramic powder, metallurgy, building materials, chemical industry and other fields.

Working Principle
Based on planetary motion principle
SIENOX SIE-BM1000 operates based on the planetary motion principle. Grinding jars are mounted on the main disc (sun wheel). While the main disc revolves around the central axis, the grinding jars rotate rapidly on their own axes in the opposite direction. Revolution speed: 300rpm, rotation speed: 600rpm.
Under this compound motion, the grinding media (balls) inside the jar are subjected to two alternating forces: Impact Force: The balls are thrown during high-speed movement and deliver strong impact on samples to break coarse particles. Friction & Shear Force: High-frequency friction and shear occur between balls and between balls and jar walls to grind and disperse fine particles. When the centrifugal acceleration generated by revolution exceeds the critical value, balls are pressed against the jar wall and rotate together with the vessel without effective grinding. Therefore, proper speed setting and transmission ratio design are critical to grinding efficiency. With optimized transmission ratios, SIENOX ensures proper centrifugal acceleration within the valid speed range for high-efficiency milling.
