Unsaturated Polyester Resin Defoaming Machine

Eliminate Air Entrapment in Unsaturated Polyester Casting · Reduce Pinholes and Interlayer Bubbles for Dense & Smooth Cast Surfaces

Pre-mixing of Powders + Vacuum Mixing & Defoaming + Efficient Casting Before Curing

SIENOX unsaturated polyester defoaming solution addresses trapped air in filled resin systems such as FRP, cast crafts and artificial stone during batching and curing. It adopts vacuum mixing and defoaming after powder pre-mixing to remove bubbles formed when blending resin and fillers, yielding products with dense surfaces and fewer pinholes and interlayer voids.

Why Unsaturated Polyester Defoaming Machine Is Required

FRP Industry

Hand lay-up and cast FRP parts often incorporate calcium powder, aluminum powder and glass fibers. Severe air entrapment during mixing creates interlayer bubbles and voids after curing, reducing product strength and corrosion resistance.

Resin Craft Industry

Cast crafts, ornaments and artificial stone demand high surface quality. Bubbles after curing lead to pinholes and pits, which hinder polishing and painting and lower the yield rate.

Coating & Anti-corrosion Industry

Unsaturated polyester coatings and anti-corrosion layers release heat rapidly during curing. Trapped air forms pinholes on coating surfaces, impairing protection performance and appearance.

✨ Traditional Dilemma: More stirring after powder addition brings more trapped air, resulting in dense pinholes on the surface after curing which cannot be eliminated even by polishing. Conventional vacuum chambers cannot handle high-filler systems. Vacuum mixing and defoaming after powder pre-mixing is therefore required.

Why Choose SIENOX UPR Defoaming Solution

Powder Pre-mixing & Degassing

Resin and fillers are pre-blended first and then mixed under vacuum to break up powder agglomerates and significantly reduce trapped air.

Efficient Casting Connection

Mixing and defoaming are completed in one vacuum mixing cycle. Casting is carried out within the exothermic curing window to reduce pinholes and interlayer bubbles.

Scalable & Reproducible

Smooth process scaling from lab-scale C/ZK series to mass-production MIX1000plus. Non-contact operation keeps resin ratio unchanged.

✨ The MIX60 integrates three core capabilities: deep vacuum defoaming, precision small sample processing, and reproducible process parameters. It is an ideal device for laboratory R&D scenarios requiring vacuum-assisted defoaming.

  • How does the stirring and defoaming machine work?

The SIENOX stirring and defoaming machine performs defoaming through centrifugal force at revolution and stirring through shear force formed by revolution and rotation,

Assisted by a vacuum pump to extract gas and achieve a vacuum state, removing nanoscale tiny bubbles. No contact with materials, no secondary pollution, and no secondary waste.

  • What is the function of a defoaming machine?

A defoaming machine is a device used to remove bubbles from liquids. Its function is to assist in the liquid mixing, reaction, coating, printing, infusion and other process steps in the production process, avoiding the generation of bubbles and their impact on the final product. In many industrial and laboratory environments, removing bubbles is essential as they may have a negative impact on product quality, such as affecting surface tension and stability. Defoaming machines typically use various techniques such as vibration, ultrasound, centrifugation, etc. to achieve effective bubble removal. It has a wide range of applications, including but not limited to semiconductors, solar energy, optics, biotechnology, materials science, etc.
