Why a Conductive Ink Defoaming Machine Is Required

Printed Electronic Circuits

When conductive ink is used to print flexible circuits, air bubbles and particle agglomerates generated during stirring will cause broken lines, pinholes and circuit defects, directly impairing the integrity of conductive paths.

Consistent Electrical Performance

Bubbles and agglomeration lead to uneven printed film thickness and sheet resistance fluctuation, causing unstable batch performance of devices such as sensors and heating films and reducing product yield.

High Cleanliness & High-value Material

Conductive ink is high-cost and sensitive to impurities and cleanliness. No contamination or change of particle dispersion state shall be introduced during defoaming.

✨ Traditional challenges: Manual stirring entrains air and causes particle agglomeration, resulting in unstable sheet resistance and intermittent conductivity of printed circuits. Synchronous vacuum defoaming and dispersion is therefore required.

Why Choose SIENOX Conductive Ink Defoaming Solution

Integrated Defoaming & Dispersion

Vacuum stirring achieves defoaming and breaks up agglomerated conductive particles simultaneously for denser circuits and better printability.

Clean Non-contact Design

No impeller contact with materials. It will not contaminate conductive systems and ensures consistent sheet resistance and conductive performance across batches.

Scalable from R&D to Mass Production

C/ZK series supports milliliter-level formula development, while MIX1000plus scales up for mass production with seamless replication of process parameters.

✨ The MIX series serves as ideal defoaming equipment for offset printing ink from color matching to bulk ink supply.

  • How does the stirring and defoaming machine work?

The SIENOX stirring and defoaming machine performs defoaming through centrifugal force at revolution and stirring through shear force formed by revolution and rotation,

Assisted by a vacuum pump to extract gas and achieve a vacuum state, removing nanoscale tiny bubbles. No contact with materials, no secondary pollution, and no secondary waste.

  • What is the function of a defoaming machine?

A defoaming machine is a device used to remove bubbles from liquids. Its function is to assist in the liquid mixing, reaction, coating, printing, infusion and other process steps in the production process, avoiding the generation of bubbles and their impact on the final product. In many industrial and laboratory environments, removing bubbles is essential as they may have a negative impact on product quality, such as affecting surface tension and stability. Defoaming machines typically use various techniques such as vibration, ultrasound, centrifugation, etc. to achieve effective bubble removal. It has a wide range of applications, including but not limited to semiconductors, solar energy, optics, biotechnology, materials science, etc.
