With the rapid development of advanced semiconductor packaging, third-generation semiconductors and biomedical consumables industries, higher standards have been set for material cleanliness. Traditional stirring equipment with impellers tends to suffer coating wear and metal shedding after long-term operation, which poses a high risk of contaminating high-purity slurries. Mixing dead zones lead to uneven dispersion and residual microbubbles, further resulting in packaging voids, adhesive layer defects and degraded product performance — these are persistent pain points for many precision manufacturers. SIENOX planetary mixing and defoaming mixers adopt a contact-free planetary mixing-defoaming design to tackle mixing and defoaming challenges for high-cleanliness materials.

The equipment features a planetary centrifugal structure and a sealed vacuum chamber. During operation, the container revolves and rotates on its own axis. Uniform dispersion is achieved through mutual shearing and extrusion among materials. Combined with vacuum negative pressure, bubbles separate from the interior of the slurry and are extracted. No impeller immerses into the material throughout the process, eliminating the risk of material contamination caused by impeller wear. It is well suited for materials with zero foreign matter tolerance, such as semiconductor packaging adhesives, high-purity ceramic slurries, medical resins and optical transparent adhesives. The sealed chamber can be equipped with inert gas protection to isolate air and moisture for oxidation-sensitive and moisture-labile materials, preserving their original properties.

Multi-stage programmable processes are available for setting parameters of pre-mixing, vacuum defoaming, low-speed homogenization and other phases, adapting to complex formulations including multi-component compound adhesives and powder-filled thermal conductive slurries. It ensures sufficient wetting and dispersion of powders without damaging filler structures via excessive shearing. Batch operation data can be stored for traceability to meet process control requirements of high-end manufacturing. Parameters validated in lab-scale trials can be directly transferred to pilot-scale equipment of the same model, solving the common industry problem of successful lab tests but failed mass production.

Sample testing service is also available. Enterprises can send samples of new or unfamiliar formulations for testing. Engineers optimize processes based on test results and provide reusable operating parameters to shorten formulation debugging cycles. Featuring a simple structure, detachable and washable containers facilitate material changeover and reduce cross-contamination between different formulations.

Cleanliness is the bottom line for advanced materials, and stability is the foundation of mass production. SIENOX continuously optimizes the sealing, vacuum and transmission systems of planetary mixing and defoaming equipment. With the impeller-free mixing-defoaming technology, we maintain material cleanliness, serve domestic precision new material enterprises, and deliver stable and reliable equipment support for high-standard slurry preparation.
